In the thick of winter, when the wind is howling outside the window behind my desk, and I'm cosy and warm typing away at my computer, I like to dream of the places I visited in the summer.
Oftentimes I'll go through my picture files and gaze for a few minutes here and there at photos I took. This brings back memories of those places and I vow to myself to spend more time at each of my favourite places this coming summer.
Here's just a few of them in and around Oakville and Burlington:
Bloodroot blooming in early spring at Hilton Falls Conservation Area
Wakerobins blooming in early spring at Hilton Falls.
Niagara Escarpment spring run-off. See what we have to look forward to?
My little friend at the marina. He comes to visit every evening when I am drinking my tea on the boat.
Just a few photos taken around Halton that remind me of how beautiful and special it is around here.
I want to post a lot more, however HOUSE is on now and I have to go and watch it!
