Hi Jo..That sounds like an excellant Price for learning how to do a Business Plan.
Jo, wonderful information for your Consumer. What a great benefit to living in your area! Your Consumer is luck to have you helping know their opportunities!
Jo,
When I had my businesses, I spend a lot more than that developing a business plan. That was only the first step too. I could do an essay on this topic.
Jo, It would have been SO nice to know this when going to school for Feng Shui. One day we graduated....there was no marketing -- at that time absolutely none!
Now the classes are half marketing and half Feng Shui (which I'm not sure is such a good idea either) but I do wish someone had told us what we could do. It was a long road with many ups and downs figuring out what works....and what doesn't! And I never thought of my library!
Jo-Anne, I love the many different programs the public libraries put into place. I used to be able to walk to the library when I lived in NYC and became spoiled. I don't take the 15 minute drive as often as I should since moving to Miami. I'll need to go check it out.
Good advice...in anything we do we need to have a plan to be successful.....have a great week!
Jo,
Some of these seminars are conducted by people very knowledgeable in their fields, and it's a lot less expensive than hiring a professional to provide the same advice.
Brian
Fred, How true! The price can't be beat...ideal for those starting a business on a showestring.
Jo
Jeanean, I enjoy writing about events and programs offered in the community....especially the ones that are very advantageous for those starting out,
Jo
Terry,
I imagine you could....perhaps you'll offer to teach Active Rainers through the AR University program?
Jo
Carole,
I can sympathize with you completely....it was the same when I took all of my real estate courses...there was no marketing being taught at all. If only there had of been AR back then!
Jo
Maggie,
It must have been wonderful being able to walk to the library...
Jo
Jo - you certainly are fast becoming the go to gal for all sorts of information about Oakville and the surrounding areas. I do believe contacting you would be faster than trying to get through the maze of information found elswhere.
Jo....very good resource. So many entrepreneurs proceed with their dream, yet forget the road map that will assist in getting them to their destination.
Jo-Anne, That is great information for your local community. And a $20 fee is a deal to learn how to develop a good business plan. Great post!
Kristin,
...as they say, plan your work and work your plan. ((-;
Jo
Brian,
I agree....and it's ideal for those who are starting a business, or thinking of starting one on a budget.
Jo
Kathy, I love knowing everything about the area I'm living in...and passing that info along!
Jo
Michael,
Many entrepreneurs don't know the importance of a business plan and I think that is a large reason for failed businesses.....
Jo
Thanks Greg,
I agree, $20 is a very small price to pay for the knowledge gained...
